Look, I’ll be straight with you about the All Senses Ocean Blue Sea Side Resort – it’s one of those places that does exactly what it says on the tin, and honestly, sometimes that’s all you need. Sitting right on Ethnarchou Makariou in Kremasti, you’re basically a stone’s throw from Rhodes Airport (and I mean that literally – you’ll hear planes, but it’s not the end of the world). The thing is, most people rush straight to Rhodes Town or Lindos and completely miss this little stretch of coast, which is actually pretty great if you want that proper Greek island vibe without fighting through cruise ship crowds.

The resort itself feels lived-in, you know? It’s got that comfortable, slightly worn-around-the-edges charm that comes with being a solid 4-star place that’s been doing its thing for years. The all-inclusive setup actually works here – I mean, you’re not getting Michelin-star dining, but the buffet has decent moussaka and they don’t water down the drinks like some places do. What really got me was how the staff genuinely seemed to know their regulars; there were families who’d clearly been coming back for years, and the waiters would just appear with their usual orders. The pool area gets properly busy around 11am when the sun hits just right, but if you wander down to the beach early morning, it’s just you and maybe a few locals walking their dogs along the shore.

Here’s what I wish someone had told me before I went – the rooms facing the sea are worth the extra cost, but honestly, even the garden view ones are fine because you’ll spend most of your time outside anyway. The beach isn’t that pristine white sand Instagram nonsense, but it’s proper and clean, and the water’s that brilliant blue you came to Greece for. Kremasti itself is actually a working town, not just a tourist bubble, so if you walk ten minutes inland you’ll find family-run tavernas where a massive portion of fresh fish costs less than a coffee back home. The local bus stops right outside if you want to explore (the 610 goes straight to Rhodes Town), though honestly, after a few days of the Greek sun and decent food, you might find yourself not wanting to go anywhere at all. It’s that kind of place – nothing fancy, but it gets the fundamentals right, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need from a holiday.

  What could be improved: While the room was clean and comfortable, I believe there is some room for improvement in terms of the overall decor. A few updates or small touches could enhance the ambiance and make the space feel even more inviting. However, we didn’t spend much time in the room, as there were so many great things to enjoy around the hotel and its beautiful surroundings.

  It is in a very nice location. The rooms are cleaned regularly every day. The staff is very attentive, especially NEVİ at the reception, he made us feel at home, I would like to thank him very much from here. The variety of food is limited, to be honest, I only drank beer as alcohol but I had to buy it from the market because I did not like it, I did not like that the beer was served in paper cups, it is also bad that there are no staff to take care of the sunbeds and the sea even though the hotel is right next to the beach. Other than that, everything is very nice, you can go with your family, it is a very peaceful environment.

  Our rooms with our own swimming pool were very spacious, clean and comfortable. Food varied everyday and we enjoyed the food everytime. In case you need something or want to eat out, supermarket and restaurants were only minutes away from the hotel. All personals were very friendly and very helpful. Angelo you are one of the best!

  Location is good and close to airport. Staff was friendly and professional, thanks to bartenders Daniel and Antonis, they were professional. Also, Maria who manages meals and hotel staff.
  Beach is not so wide, but also not crowded at all which is a great plus.
  
  What could be improved: Some evening shows could be improved. Just adding more night like Greek show, Sunday show also must be.
  Hotel facilities needs some minor fixed (lights, doors etc)

  Much better than the tripadvisor reviews, the hotel was kept very clean, the staff were friendly and happy to help and the entertainment was always funny to watch even if we didn’t participate. Pool was very clean and easy access to a nearby beach. Food okay nothing amazing but perfectly fine with lots of choices and always fresh bread and salad etc available. It is on a flight path but we knew this when booking and personally it didn’t bother us.
  
  What could be improved: A small thing but it would be nice to see mattress protectors on the beds, sometimes our sheet came off and it felt a little unclean to be touching the mattress.
  
  Sunbeds could also be updated, most of them are fine but more are broken than there should be.
  
  Overall nothing that would ruin our stay and for the price we thought it was good value for money!

  The staff from the restaurant was really kind, especially Mikella and the other guys.
  We really enjoyed the good energy from the entertainment team: Ian Luna and Kitty.
  Beautiful seaside, view and landscape.

  What could be improved: Cleaning was quite bed, the floor in our room and on the corridor was really dirty.
  The food was not so great, the quality was "okay".

  Loved the ease of access to the beach -approx. 5 minute walk from our room. The pool looked amazing but was too cold for us to try, not the resorts fault. Had a massage that was great and for a really good price. The night entertainment at the venue was top notch, first night- karaoke, second night- authentic Greek Dancers who had the crowd interact with them, my daughters (age 3 and 6) absolutely loved it and the dancers were patient with them. The alcohol is also offered with the all inclusive so really between that and the 3 meals per day, you cant beat the cost. The taxi to Rhodes was about a 10 minute trip for a flat 20 Euro. We went in October so it wasn't too busy. It was a great family trip.
  
  What could be improved: Things like the curtains were falling down in the room and if you drained the bathtub too quickly it would come up through the floor drain. two things that really weren't a big deal for us at least, just drain the tub slower.
