You know what caught me off guard about Alios apartment? Walking up to this unassuming building on Κλαύδιου Πέπερ street, I honestly wasn’t expecting much – I mean, it’s tucked away in this residential part of Rhodes Town where most tourists don’t really wander. But man, once you’re inside, it’s like someone took all the best bits of Greek island living and actually made them work for real people. The apartment itself feels like staying at that friend’s place who somehow has their life together – everything’s clean and modern, but not in that sterile hotel way where you’re afraid to touch anything. The kitchen actually has proper olive oil (not that weird generic stuff), and I swear the coffee maker is better than what I have at home. What really sold me was stepping out onto the little balcony in the morning – you can smell the bakery from two streets over mixing with that salty Mediterranean air, and there’s this perfect view slice of the harbor between the buildings. It’s not a postcard view, but it’s real Rhodes, you know?

The location is honestly brilliant once you figure it out – and I say that as someone who got completely lost trying to find it the first time because Greek street names are… well, they’re challenging. But here’s the thing: you’re maybe a seven-minute walk from the medieval Old Town (I timed it, because I’m that person), yet you’re far enough away that you don’t hear the late-night party crowds stumbling back to their hotels. The street itself is surprisingly quiet, mostly locals heading to work or the little corner shop that stocks everything from fresh bread to phone chargers. There’s this tiny taverna called Dimitri’s about three doors down – not in any guidebook, but the owner Maria makes this lamb dish that’ll ruin you for restaurant lamb forever. I actually ended up eating there three times during my stay, which is saying something because I’m usually the “try everywhere once” type. Parking’s a bit of a dance if you’re renting a car – the street’s narrow and you’ll probably end up circling the block a few times, but honestly, that’s just Rhodes Town for you.

Look, I’ve stayed in my share of places that promise authenticity and deliver tourist traps, but Alios apartment actually delivers on that elusive “live like a local” thing without making you sacrifice comfort. The 9.6 rating isn’t inflated – it’s just really well thought out. The Wi-Fi works (crucial for us digital nomad types), the shower has proper pressure, and the bed is that perfect firmness where you don’t wake up feeling like you wrestled a Greek god all night. It’s the kind of place where you start planning your return visit before you’ve even checked out, and trust me, I’m not usually that person. If you’re looking for a pool and room service, book elsewhere. But if you want to actually experience Rhodes rather than just photograph it, this little gem on Κλαύδιου Πέπερ is exactly what you didn’t know you were looking for.

  The location is right on a lovely local beach with great swimming and snorkeling conditions. Nice local restaurants and good proximity to old town (25 minute walk).
  The apartment itself is really nice and modern. The balcony is great to drink coffee and look out at the sea.
  The air conditioners works well and the windows are very good, which is important since there is a fairly busy road in front of the apartment.

  Nice views. Walking distance from city, sea views, parking in front of the door close to exit roads to all of Rhodos. Comfortable apartment, owner very accessible and friendly and everything was managed perfectly. Kitchen was also great.
  
  What could be improved: The road in front of the house is fairly noisy. But knew that would be there when we booked. When the doors and windows are closed it’s quiet, and the airconditioners work fine.

  It was one of the best stays I have ever had. Nikolas is a great host. He is very kind and welcoming, and he helped us a lot. The apartment is a pretty big and comfortable; the sea and the beach are just across the street. Also, there are really nice Greek and Italian restaurants just in the very next buildings. As for the Old Town, it's about 20-30 minutes walk. Highly recommend!

  The apartment is located in the outskirts of Rhodos city right next to a beach, in close proximity of several local restaurants (Greek, Italian, seafood restaurant etc.). It is a non-touristic area so you can park your car in front of the building for free, which is very convenient and you can be out of town very quick by car to explore the island. It is recently renovated, all was very clean and tidy. The road in front of the building is not that busy, also the windows and shutters filter out any noise very well. Recommended!
  
  What could be improved: I suggest installing a microwave oven for future guests.

  Man musste nur über die Straße und war direkt am Meer, es war wirklich alles vorhanden, was man zum Leben braucht:) kleine willkommens Geschenke waren auch da:), der wohnungsbesitzer hat sich auch gemeldet um zufragen ob alles unseren vorstellungen entspricht(zeigte sehr positive Interesse an unserem urlaub), hat uns sehr gefreut diese Unterkunft kennenzulernen:) werden demnächst wieder diese Unterkunft buchen:)

  Bardzo dobry kontakt z właścicielem, mieszkanie było czyste i wyposażone tak, jak nigdy nie widziałem. Bez problemu z parkowaniem przy apartamencie. Blisko do plaży i centrum Rodos.
  
  What could be improved: Nie jest to najcichsze miejsce w dzień i w nocy, ale na to nie ma się wpływu.

  Il soggiorno presso Alios Apartments a Rodi è stato semplicemente perfetto! L'appartamento è situato in una posizione ideale, a pochi passi dalle spiagge e vicino a tutti i servizi necessari e al centro storico. La struttura è ben arredata e dotata di tutti i comfort. Le stanze sono ampie e luminose. Piccolo consiglio ai proprietari: sarebbe necessaria qualche presa in più nelle camere da letto e, anche se soggettiva, sarebbe utile avere o dei materassi sostitutivi (quelli sui letti sono molto duri) oppure un topper che ammorbidisca il materasso.
  Una menzione speciale va all'ospitalità dei proprietari in particolare Nikolas, che è sempre stato disponibile e cordiale, pronto a fornire consigli utili su cosa vedere e fare sull'isola. La connessione Wi-Fi è veloce e stabile, il che è stato un grande plus per chi, come me, ha avuto bisogno di lavorare durante il soggiorno. Inoltre, la vista dal balcone è spettacolare, perfetta per godersi un caffè al mattino o un bicchiere di vino al tramonto.
  In sintesi, Alios Apartments ha superato di gran lunga le mie aspettative. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un alloggio confortevole, ben posizionato e gestito da persone eccezionali.

  Disponibilità di materassi più morbidi o topper
  Qualche presa in più nelle camere da letto
  Una mappa della città con le varie attrazioni potrebbe rendere il tutto fantastico
