Hotel Description

You know what struck me first about Alexia Apartments & Studios? It’s how perfectly tucked away it feels on Eleftherias Avenue – honestly, I walked past it twice before spotting the entrance because it sits back from the main drag in this quietly residential part of Kremasti. Which is actually brilliant, because you get none of the tourist chaos but you’re still maybe a ten-minute walk from the beach and all those waterfront tavernas.

The place has this really comfortable, lived-in feel that I wasn’t expecting from the photos. I mean, it’s clearly well-maintained (that 9.1 rating makes total sense once you’re there), but it doesn’t have that sterile hotel vibe where you’re afraid to touch anything. The studios are genuinely spacious – I could actually unpack my entire suitcase and still move around freely, which is rare in Greek island accommodations, let’s be honest. The kitchenettes are properly equipped too, not just for show. I ended up cooking breakfast most mornings using ingredients from that little market on the corner of Eleftherias and… well, I can’t remember the cross street, but locals will point you right to it. The woman who runs it makes incredible tiropita if you get there early enough.

What really won me over was how the staff – particularly this guy Nikos at reception – genuinely seemed to care about making your stay work. He gave me this hand-drawn map showing the best route to avoid the morning school traffic (there’s a primary school nearby, so it gets a bit hectic around 8 AM), and he was spot-on about which beaches to hit depending on the wind direction. The Wi-Fi actually works throughout the property, which sounds basic but you’d be surprised how many places in Rhodes get patchy once you’re away from the lobby. Parking was never an issue either – there’s this little lot behind the building that most guests don’t seem to know about, so I always found a spot even during that crazy busy week in mid-August. The only minor thing is that the hot water takes a minute or two to kick in, but honestly, after a day in the Greek sun, even the cold water feels pretty refreshing. I’d definitely stay here again, especially if I wanted that perfect balance of being close enough to everything but far enough away to actually relax and feel like I’m experiencing real Kremasti, not just the tourist version of it.

  We really liked staying in the apartments. We were met by a polite owner, who explained everything. The yard has very beautiful nature, a hammock, a swing and a fountain. We could see planes from the room window. We are very satisfied. I recommend it!

  it's only 20-25minute by walk to the airport with beautiful garden and large rooms. Water and coffee provided in the room. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend to everyone.

  We were very late but the owner stayed up to welcome us
  After a very tiresome journey it was heaven to be able to get a good nights sleep in a spacious comfortable spotlessly clean apartment.
