You know what struck me first about Aethrion Villa Lindos? The quiet. I mean, you’re literally in Lindos – this ancient village that gets absolutely packed with tourists during the day – but somehow this place feels tucked away from all that chaos. It’s perched up on one of those winding streets that climb away from the main square, so you get the charm without the constant stream of people shuffling past your window taking selfies.

The villa itself has that traditional Cycladic thing going on, all white walls and blue shutters, but honestly it doesn’t feel like they’re trying too hard to be Instagram-perfect. The rooms are solid – not huge, but well thought out. I actually appreciated that the bathroom had proper water pressure (you’d be surprised how many Greek island places get this wrong), and the air conditioning worked without sounding like a jet engine. The staff genuinely seemed to know the area too, which matters more than you’d think. When I asked about hiking up to the Acropolis early to beat the crowds, the guy at reception didn’t just hand me a generic brochure – he told me exactly which path to take and what time the light would be best for photos.

What really sells this place though is the location game they’re playing. You’re close enough to walk down to St. Paul’s Bay in about ten minutes – and I mean the actual good swimming spot, not just the touristy viewpoint everyone posts about. But you’re also far enough up the hill that you can actually sleep at night without hearing every conversation from the tavernas below. The 8.6 rating makes sense to me because it’s not trying to be a luxury resort (thank god), but it nails the basics that matter when you’re exploring Rhodes. Parking was surprisingly easy too – there’s a spot just down the street where you can leave your car without worrying about it, which honestly saved my vacation since driving around Lindos village itself is basically impossible. The only thing I’d mention is that if you’re not great with stairs and hills, this might not be your spot – but then again, that’s true for most of the genuinely good places to stay in these old Greek villages.

  Spacious private shaded parking for two cars, jacuzzi is a big plus. Dishwasher, washing machine, water in the fridge. Responsive hosts. Very well equipped house with baby chairs, beds,etc . Iron, hair driers etc.

  easy checkin process. outdoor area was great, pool and lounge chairs. lots of space. best to have a car but easily accessible to lindos, pefkos and beaches

  lovely view of the sea. The managing company were extremely responsive, very helpful and gave some good restaurant recommendations. 5 minutes drive to public car parks for Lindos although you could walk , there is a pavement along the main road.
  
  What could be improved: The shower room off the main room could do with updating but functions perfectly well. The hot tub at the time (April) did not heat properly.

  The location is superb! Very close to Lindos with its beautiful beaches and nice restaurants. The villa is comfortable and clean. The pool is good for kids.
  
  What could be improved: The photos of the property are not accurate and do not reflect the current situation. When we booked it there was a jacuzzi, table tennis and even a children playground on the pictures. We saw nothing of the above when we arrived.
  The villa is poorly maintained with lots of small problems. Would be nice to have a welcome pack like a bottle of water in the fridge or salt/pepper in the kitchen.
  It is difficult to find the exact villa among others as there is no sign or name.
  Hope that the owner/manager will change the pictures to avoid disappointment.

  What could be improved: Pictures are outdated, shows 3 beds in one of the rooms. There was only two beds and a cot in there when we arrived which was awkward as we had planned to put 3 adults in there. Also there were a few things in urgent need of repair, wardrobe doors hanging off and wardrobes falling apart. One bedroom only had one bedside unit.
  Also listing states 3 bathrooms, it does not have 3, it has 1 bathroom; 1 en-suite and 1 downstairs WC. That’s not the same as 3 bathrooms!!

  La location è ottima, comoda, tranquilla e con una vista splendida sul mare. La pulizia era eccellente e altrettanto è stata la comunicazione con l'host: disponibile, cordiale e sempre pronto a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda, suggerendo anche nuovi luoghi da visitare e ristoranti da provare.
  
  Il rapporto qualità-prezzo è davvero ottimo.
  Un’esperienza decisamente positiva!

  Super villa très fonctionnelle et spacieuse avec trois chambres et deux salles bains. Parfait pour une famille de six personnes. La terrasse (dont une partie couverte), le jardin et la piscine sont très agréables. Six transats au bord de la piscine (c'est rare !). Literie très confortable. Localisation au calme mais à proximité de LINDOS (une voiture est nécessaire).
  
  What could be improved: On a un peu tourné/cherché pour trouver la villa car elle n'était pas bien identifiée dans le lotissement.
  La TV ne fonctionnait pas et la connexion internet n'était pas très stable.
  Sèche-serviette décroché dans la salle de bains de la suite parentale et raccroché sommairement avec de la bande adhésive.
  Manque de vaisselle et d'ustensiles de cuisine (que deux bols, pas d'éplucheur, …). Ce serait bien de compléter le matériel existant.

  De villa is gelegen in een heel rustige wijk op 5 minuten rijden van Lindos en Pefkos. De eerste keer was het wel moeilijk om de villa te vinden want er staat nergens iets aangeduid. Er zijn enkele kleine supermarkten in Lindos en Pefkos. De dag voor ons vertrek is er een nieuwe grote moderne supermarkt geopend op 5 minuten rijden van Lindos.
  
  Het is een grote mooie villa met grote kamers en goede matrassen. Er zijn ook overal rolluiken en dikke gordijnen aanwezig om de zon en warmte buiten te houden. Er is ook overal airco aanwezig evenals een microgolf, waterkoker, croque monsieur toestel, broodrooster, grote frigo en grote freezer (met 3 lades), wasmachine en afwasmachine, 3 wc's en 2 badkamers.
  De lakens en handdoeken zijn 3 keer vervangen geweest op 12 dagen tijd. Er hadden wel een paar keukenhanddoeken voorzien mogen worden om de afwas af te drogen gezien de afwasmachine niet goed meer werkte.
  
  Hetgeen heel aangenaam was, we hebben daar geen muggen noch vliegen gezien, zalig!!
  
  De dag van vertrek mochten we de villa verlaten wanneer het ons paste, hetgeen zeker geapprecieerd werd!
  De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en deed ook steeds z'n best om ons verblijf aangenaam te maken.
  
  What could be improved: Toen we in december '23 geboekt hadden, was er een jacuzzi aanwezig bij het zwembad. Bij aankomst bleek dat de jacuzzi verwijderd geweest werd. We werden hiervan niet op de hoogte gehouden, dus dit viel wat tegen.
  Bij aankomst hadden we ook geen wifi in de villa. Zogezegd een probleem met de provider maar dit zou snel opgelost geraken. Na veel bellen en berichtjes sturen, heeft het 6 dagen geduurd vooraleer we wifi hadden. De router bleek defect te zijn. Nadien werkte de wifi perfect. De TV hebben we nooit aan de praat gekregen, "no signal".
  De eigenaar kan je het best bereiken via een bericht te sturen want hij neemt z'n telefoon niet of maar weinig op (waarschijnlijk door ons gezaag :o) .
  
  Enkele kleinere details:
  Het huis mocht iets grondiger gepoetst worden.
  De afwasmachine is aan vervanging toe. We moesten telkens met de hand alles terug afwassen na gebruik.
  Het zwembad is aangenaam maar de wanden mogen ook eens gepoetst worden (ze waren wit door de zonneproducten). Dagelijks vielen er ook heel veel bloemen en bladeren in het zwembad door de haag van de buur die veel te hoog staat. De poolboy zou om de 2 dagen komen maar die hebben we maar weinig gezien. De voorlaatste dag zag het water groen, gelukkig is hij toen langsgekomen.
  De douche aan het zwembad moet ook eens nagekeken worden, er spuit water uit langs alle kanten behalve daar waar het moet.
  De stoelen in de keuken zijn zwaar en maken veel lawaai bij het verschuiven.
  Bij aankomst was in een badkamer het handdoekenrek afgebroken. Zijn ze komen herstellen met lijm en tape maar we hebben het toch niet durven gebruiken want zou waarschijnlijk onmiddellijk terug afgebroken zijn.
  Laat geen kruimel brood liggen of je hebt een kolonie aan mieren!
